In all economic sectors, the services of accounting clerks are required to see to the daily bookkeeping.
It is up to you to establish the type of work environment that best corresponds to your personal goals.

Possible specialization- In accounting: administrator (general administration). Long
term: chartered accountant, certified management accountant,
certified general accountant (CA, CMA, CGA) - Self-employed
Objectives of the program
- Organize and process data and numbers effectively and accurately
- Produce various analytical reports
- Use information pertaining to fiscal laws
Skills to be acquired
- Organizational skills and flexibility
- Communication and interaction skills in English and French
- Preparation of vouchers
- Use of accounting software
Admission requirements
- Hold a Secondary School diploma or have been granted
recognition of equivalent learning;
OR - To be 16 years of age on September 30 of the current school year and have earned the Secondary IV credits in the language of instruction, second language and mathematics (Math 416);
OR - Have earned those same credits at Secondary III level and obtain
the Secondary IV credits while pursuing General Education courses;
OR - Be at least 18 years of age and have the functional prerequisites.
